The Claremont Hotel development was undertaken by FJM Property with Australian Venue Co as the operator, Rothelowman as the Architect and Valtari as the Construction Manager and was completed in December 2022. Forth undertook the engineering services associated with the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and fire systems.
The project maintained the appeal of the heritage features whilst producing a modern outcome. The hotel provides diverse areas including modern dining area, outdoor bistro, traditional bar areas, large open atrium, function area and rooftop experience with 2 large kitchens and 3 bars. The design incorporates energy efficient systems and operable skylights to provide natural light and a comfortable controlled environment.
